ABOUT US:

The Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical School District is comprised of the city of Lowell and the towns of Dracut, Dunstable, and Tyngsborough, communities with a combined population of about 150,000 residents and a FY19 budget of $44M. The school first opened in 1974 and recently completed a $65M construction/renovation project.

In addition to a grade 9-12 enrollment of approximately 2,200 students, the school also offers Practical Nursing and Adult Education Programs. We believe in educating students in a supportive and safe environment and providing distinct technical and academic experiences in order to assist all students in realizing a genuine focus for the future.

The school is ranked in the 46th percentile of all high schools in MA which represents a 30 point increase over the last 4 years. As a modern vocational technical high school we are able to offer students two educations in one.

We offer challenging and rigorous academic courses in the four core subjects of English, math, science, and history. In addition, rather than supplementing our academics with an array of elective courses, our students explore, select, and focus on one of our 23 vocational technical program majors. As a result, Greater Lowell Tech students are prepared to either enter college or the workforce upon graduation.
