Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Automotive Technician Stadium GM Superstore in Salem is seeking an energetic, and success driven GM Certified Automotive Service Technician for our dealership located in Salem, OH. Our Chevrolet/Buick/GMC/Cadillac service team is committed to providing 100% customer satisfaction to our loyal customers.

Prior Automotive Technician experience is required and GM Certification is a must. Job Responsibilities As an Automotive Technician, you will perform automotive repairs as described on repair orders with efficiency, accuracy and in accordance with factory and service center standards.

You will diagnose vehicle malfunctions, recommending and performing appropriate diagnostic repairs. Additional responsibilities include: Examining vehicles to diagnose necessary repairs Communicating maintenance needs to Service Advisor Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc Notifying Service Advisor if work cannot be completed as promised Documenting all work performed clearly and accurately Attending and successfully completing factory training as required Keeping informed of factory technical bulletins Job Requirements 2 years of automotive maintenance experience and training is required Can work in a fast pace environment and are organized and can manage your time Experience can include oil changes, basic maintenance or minor repair work.
