Position Summary

Continue learning new techniques to stay abreast in a rapidly growing automotive industry while diagnosing and repairing brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.

Responsibilities

The Automotive Technician/Mechanic position requires your experience and technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using your leadership and mentoring skills in driving a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Change oil, transmission fluid and filters

  • Install batteries and checks electrical systems

  • Tire maintenance

  • Install parts

  • Road test vehicles

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • 1-year of automotive repair experience

  • A valid driver's license

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

The shift for this position is second shift hours, Tuesday through Saturday work week. HYG is looking for an energetic individual who will have a positive influence on the Fleet Site Service team. The Site Service Technician is primarily responsible for performing onsite maintenance of Mobile Equipment to include analysis and inspection of GM owned equipment located in Spring Hill, TN to meet the expectations of end users. The Site Service Technician Will Provide the Following Key Accountabilities: * Assist in ensuring that our maintenance program meets the performance, reliability, durability, and operational characteristics required by the Customer. * Perform onsite repair by identifying issues, repairing trucks, and suggesting improvements to reduce downtime of fleet. * Perform system monitoring, failure reporting, preventative maintenance, and corrective-action duties which are crucial to improving productivity and acceptance of the Mobile Equipment Fleet, * Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring optimal performance of the Fleet during operation, as well as the service provider during maintenance and repair, by providing the necessary support to maximize efficiency and value for all parties involved.
