Automotive Technician (Experienced Level A Or B)

Jerry Seiner Buick, GMC of North Salt Lake, seeks an Automotive Technician (Experienced Level A or B) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Execute tasks as specified on the repair order efficiently and precisely, adhering to dealership and factory standards.

• Utilize a video multi-point inspection to inspect the assigned vehicle and determine whether additional safety or service procedures are necessary or advisable.

• Accurately complete the video multi-point inspection for each vehicle.

• Record all work and any recommended actions on the designated repair order.

• Communicate with the Service Consultant in cases where extra work is required or if repairs cannot be finished within the promised timeframe.

• Engage in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and educational institutions to continuously enhance your knowledge of new technology.

• Maintain the manufacturer's Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).

• Fulfill the tasks, documentation, and time-keeping requirements essential for properly handling warranty repair orders and submitting warranty claims.

• Accurately document repairs as per manufacturer requirements

• Keep your work area clean and organized

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of Automotive/Diesel repair experience is required.

• Strong preference for ASE certifications.

• Strong preference for manufacturer certifications.

• Prior experience as an automotive technician is mandatory.

• A basic tool set is required.

• Exceptional technical and mechanical aptitude is essential.

• Applicants must be at least eighteen years old.

• Possession of a valid driver's license is a prerequisite.
