We are accepting applications for an Automotive Technician within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Buckeye Lake State Park, assigned to Fairfield county. Please note that this position is subject to statewide travel depending on project need. This position requires Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in at least four areas, two of which must be A1 engine repair & A8 engine performance or T2 diesel engines & T3 preventative maintenance inspection.

What You'll Do:

• Perform major overhauls, repairs and preventative maintenance of gasoline & diesel engines

• Repair, rebuild and replace minor and major parts of equipment operations

• Provide service & repair of vehicles & equipment on an emergency basis

• Operate various trucks to perform local and statewide projects to maintain the beauty and use of our state parks

• Starting hourly pay of $22.66/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 4.5 years of service, with an end salary of $27.84/hr.
