As a Automotive Shop Supervisor at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our main campus is located in Berwyn PA. Our dedicated team of over 600 staff ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses to recreational and direct staff professionals, all work to one common goal the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community.

The automotive supervisor assists in assessing individuals' vocational skills and interests. This person also plans and implements a program of job training and work experiences designed to meet individuals' vocational, emotional, physical and creative needs. You will also facilitate day to day business operations ensuring that all Federal and State safety and regulatory standards are adhered to. Delivery of excellent customer service is critical.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors degree in vocational education, rehabilitation education, human services or related field and will consider an Associates degree/sixty credits with four years of experience working with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities (I/DD) and/or mental health disorders. ASE Certified Master Mechanic, Pennsylvania Certified Safety Inspector, Pennsylvania Certified Emissions Inspector and Pennsylvania Emisions Waiver Certified preferred.

  • Be at least 21 years of age

  • Must possess and maintain valid driver's license

  • 2yrs working with individuals with developmental disabilities
