Job Overview:

As an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person that our guests look to when they need help with their vehicle. You are the person that our guests see every time they make an investment into their vehicle, because of these reasons you play a large role in building relationships with our customers.

Service Advisors have the responsibility of taking our guest through the entire repair process, keeping them informed of the status of their vehicle and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Promptly greet every guest that enters our facility with hospitality and respect.
  • Present the best complete solution to properly repair our guest's vehicle in a way that simplifies complex systems into something that is easier to understand.
  • Manage the store's workflow in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Consistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardizing honesty and integrity.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times.
  • Work together as a team and assist other employees as needed.
  • Communicate on the phone in a clear professional manner.
  • Build long-term relationships between the store, yourself, and the guest.
  • Direct, coordinate, and participate in performing guest service activities.
  • Ensure that all repairs are performed to proper specifications.
  • Shuttle guests as needed in CBA branded vehicles.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

What we are looking for:

  • 2 to 5 years experience in aftermarket auto repair, great communication skills, and the ability to understand sales while working as a team to deliver results.
  • Proven track record in areas such as shop metrics and individual performance.
  • Possess an alpha personality with natural sales ability and a passion to serve.
  • An exceptional attendance record and the ability to work remotely after hours and some weekends to assist guests in rare emergency situations.
  • Willingness to learn new methods or processes and adapt to a fast paced environment.
  • Attend all assigned training and complete them with the highest score.
  • Current driver's licenses
  • Driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier
  • Proficiency in Windows based computer software and automotive store applications
  • Experience in an Automotive Customer Service role or Automotive Service Write/Advisor/Sales role

Physical Requirements:

  • Being dependable and reliable for a position that is scheduled for Monday- Friday, 7am- 6pm
  • Being on your feet the majority of the workday (standing, walking, coordinating parts, etc.)
  • Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
  • Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment

  • An estimator will be provided to assist with all estimates and parts sourcing. This opens the door for many advisors, currently employed through dealerships, to easily transition into the aftermarket automotive repair environment.

  • A detailed pay plan and bonus structure will be provided once hired.

  • If the targets are missed 3 consecutive months termination might occur.
