The Automotive Service Advisor at Jones Acura is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and generating revenue for the dealership through the scheduling and coordination of automotive services. This individual will work closely with customers, technicians, and management to ensure efficient and satisfactory service experiences. This is a full-time, commission-only position in the fast-paced and exciting automotive industry. The position is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and is an individual contributor role.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry, preferably as a service advisor or in a customer service role

  • Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Proficient in using computer and DMS software

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and engage in friendly conversation to understand their automotive service needs

  • Consult with customers to discuss recommended repairs and services and provide accurate estimates for costs and timeframes

  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services

  • Maintain open communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on the status of their vehicle and addressing any concerns or questions

  • Utilize dealership software systems to accurately record service orders and track service histories

  • Upsell additional services and products to customers to increase revenue for the dealership

  • Follow up with customers after service appointments to ensure satisfaction and address any issues that may arise

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and resolving any customer complaints in a timely manner

  • Adhere to dealership and manufacturer standards and guidelines for service and customer interactions

  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate and informative recommendations to customers
