The Automotive Platform team is looking for a Security Engineer to help develop and bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle platform out to the world. You will participate in a focused effort to develop and productize ground-breaking solutions that will revolutionize the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with talented and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our autonomous driving DRIVE SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all meaningful NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. What you'll be doing:
Be involved in the development of our groundbreaking security architecture for self-driving cars, with an opportunity to craft its future
Perform security threat modelling and analysis of our automotive platform
Work with teams in the discovery and mitigation of new vulnerabilities
Assist with defining and making sure software development processes meet security and coding standards
Design and make security recommendations to satisfy automotive security guidelines and requirements
Mentor teams and developers, promoting guidelines on best security practices
What we need to see:
Demonstrated course work or experience in a security related field
Familiarity with computer system architectures, OS architectures, and networking systems
Excellent programming skills in C/C++, algorithms, data structures, and scripting languages
Familiarity with applied cryptography, threat modeling, and common attack vectors
Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
Requires a BS degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering plus 4+ years of experience
Ways to stand out in the crowd:
Demonstrated security research experience and publications
Excellent background in theoretical cryptography
Familiarity with SoC fundamentals (e.g., caches, buses, memory controllers, debug)
