Compensation: The Quick/Express Lane Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $16.00 and $42.00. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit. Additionally this position may also pay a retention bonus of $0.75 per every booked hour.

Quick Lane Technician Responsibilities:

• Quick Lane Automotive Technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Ford standards

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, tire rotations, etc.

• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs

• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers

• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology

• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made

• Day and Night Shift available

Quick Lane Technician Qualifications:

• Ford Certified

• Must have previous lube tech experience

• Previous experience at an automotive dealership

• Reynolds/Reynolds a plus!

• Strong understanding of the service drive

• Years of experience vary per position

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination

• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Basic computer competencies

• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

• Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively

• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles

• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
