Responsibilities

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above

  • Be involved in the financial management of clients

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges

  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects

  • Train, coach, and supervise staff

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Demonstrates extensive knowledge of, and/or success in operations roles within a professional services firm or corporate environment, helping Automotive companies to identify, clarify and resolve complex issues critical to their strategic and operating success.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge within one or more of the following areas including operations strategy, supply chain strategy/ management, supply chain diagnostics, manufacturing strategy, network optimization, logistics/distribution, S&OP/ planning, Operations/ Supply Chain performance improvement, inventory management, complexity management, and/or sourcing.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge of the Automotive industry and market trends and industry-leading practices in order to develop insights and provide recommendations.

Demonstrates proven extensive abilities in leadership, strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, individual initiative, emphasizing the following areas:

  • Building productive and collaborative relationships with team members and proactively providing and seeking guidance, clarification and feedback;

  • Managing a team to a successful project conclusion through the problem-solving of complex operations issues;

  • Managing the planning, organizing and delivery of operations tasks and projects, overseeing independent analyses and establishing the quality of client deliverables;

  • Leading the development and improvement of various frameworks and methodologies within operations;

  • Identifying and addressing client needs;

  • Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships;

  • Communicating effectively in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats; and,

  • Demonstrating strong aptitude for conducting quantitative analyses, including experience with Excel and/or Access, especially constructing analytical frameworks and synthesizing complex data into meaningful insights.

JOB OVERVIEW We are looking for a Strategy and Operations Manager to help devise and execute on our approach to growing our farmer and external partner network and revenue. This role will help define the way we acquire, serve, and retain farmer members and external partners, expanding our strategy to drive new growth and revenue opportunities and an enhanced member experience as we scale our network. This individual will work with both FBN Network and Senior leadership across the company to execute on growth-oriented projects focused on growing the FBN farmer member and partner base, and the company's revenue. Qualified candidates will have a strong ability to both ideate bold strategies and get dirty understanding our user and implement those strategies through cross-functional programming. RESPONSIBILITIES * FBN Network growth and customer experience * Work with the General Manager of FBN Network to drive growth of core FBN membership and network, which incorporates new membership acquisition as well as retention and engagement * Work with internal sales and retention teams, including the Customer Experience team, to execute on high-impact projects - for example overseeing the buildout of an internal software suite designed to empower our growing CX organization * Identify and execute on high leverage partnerships focused on expanding the FBN network * Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Sales to support research that defines the FBN member experience, defining our customer lifecycle and improvement opportunities * Work with FBN Data Science team to conduct ad-hoc and permanent analyses on network growth trends and outcomes, identifying expansion opportunities as well as enhancement opportunities such as membership pricing * Third party industry ecosystem * Work with a large cross-functional team to further develop and execute FBN's "ecosystem" strategy - which is a large growth opportunity for the FBN Network and for our business units * Take learnings from FBN's initial Hub and Seed Ambassador successes to expand our third party ecosystem offerings * Identify third party ecosystem partners, such as independent Accountants or Agricultural Associations, develop a joint go to market offering between FBN and partner * Drive ecosystem expansion with a set of trial partners, identifying and selling ideal partners, defining operational processes internally and externally, and leading rollout to our farmer network * Hire and scale team to scale successful ecosystem partnerships * FBN Network revenue strategy * Work with relevant Network and FBN leadership to define and pursue the Network's revenue strategy for the next 3-5 years * Identify opportunities to leverage FBN core capabilities, software, and Network that will lead to revenue growth for the business while first and foremost benefitting our farmer member base - for instance, how we can build out and monetize a Classifieds offering * Test and scale promising opportunities, with the opportunity to own strategies that exhibit long-term growth potential QUALIFICATIONS * 2-5 years of relevant management consulting, strategy development, business operations, or business development/partnerships experience * Desire to conduct extensive farmer and partner research to generate business-related conclusions, especially those focused on business/customer growth * Experience working on product and program development, digital or otherwise, with a focus on designing and delivering on solutions to meet the needs of partners and customers * Operational focus, with the desire and ability to drive complex, multi-stakeholder offerings that include both internal and external coordination * Exceptional command over creating and delivering structured and unstructured communication to a broad range of teams, from sales to executive functions * Enjoy working in an innovative capacity, with appropriate flexibility and the ability to work in a more fluid and ambiguous environment * A relentless passion for understanding and meeting the needs of the customer * Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple, concurrent business initiatives that have significant business impact * Strong leadership skills with the ability to build proactive cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organization as well as with external partners * Exhibited interest in the agriculture and food ecosystems, with a focus on supporting FBN and its Farmers First approach COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Compensation and title for this position will be adjusted to suit your experience and qualifications.
