The Mechanic A is the top of our maintenance team with a focus on diagnostic and repair. This role will work to keep allequipment in running condition through our effective preventative maintenance program, as well as taking on theresponsibility of handling complex repairs such as engine and transmission overhauls. This position is a master technicianand assumes a leadership role with product knowledge and a standard of quality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Key-result areas Perform full vehicle repairs to include, but not limited to; Brakes, Steering/Suspension, Heating/Cooling,Starting/Charging system, and warranty work Diagnose, inspect, and troubleshoot vehicles to resolve maintenance issues timely and efficiently Perform preventative maintenance checks on all vehicles based on mileage Will perform additional maintenance work as needed and assigned

Key Competencies and Minimum Education

Driving is required

Educational Background: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Trade School Preferred ASE Certified

Professional Experience: At minimum three (3) years of vehicle maintenance experience

Working Conditions

Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.

Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.

Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases, or other irritants

Ability to move and position heavy objects

Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles

Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
