AutoVIN, The Automated Vehicle Information Network, provides professional field information and technology services that go beyond the boundaries of the competition. AutoVIN is looking for qualified Field Representatives to process data accurately and deliver actionable results in a timely manner. Primary duties include performing vehicle inspections and conducting floor plan audits of automobile dealerships. Field Representatives work independently in assigned geographic territory to perform AutoVIN field services, including inventory verification audits and both physical and mechanical inspections of vehicles.

Essential Elements

  • Inspect vehicles at lease maturity using customer provided excess wear and tear standards to determine damage assessment.

  • Confirm preset appointment time and inspection location with lessees.

  • Inspections may be performed at an auto dealership or a lessee's home or office.

  • Inspect vehicles for signs of wear, tear, neglect, damage or structural damage.

  • Report results to lessee and customer at conclusion of inspection.

  • Follow AutoVIN procedures for conducting all vehicle inspections.

  • Assist in inspection of daily rental vehicles at Marshalling Yards based upon inventory levels on an as needed basis.

  • Perform floor plan audits of automobile dealerships and equipment dealers.

  • Ensure floor planned inventory is physically present or otherwise accounted for by review of dealer sales documents or records.

  • Perform inventory reconciliation and reporting of audit results to customers after the audit.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

One (1) to two (2) years of experience in at least one of the following areas: Automotive Technician, customer service, collections, automobile dealership or body shop, inventory management, financial floorplan auditing, automotive remarketing, vehicle inspection. Good organizational, verbal and written communication skills along with customer service skills are required. Extensive local travel is required using personal vehicle (reimbursed by the company). 20% overnight travel to assist in other areas, as needed.

Licenses, Certifications:

  • Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.

  • Proof of insurance is required

  • Ideal candidate needs to be detail oriented, possess excellent customer service and communication skills, be well versed in basic computer operation and have an above average knowledge of automobiles including both body and mechanical system and components.

TradeRev is looking for a Market Sales Coordinator to support our Sales Organization. The primary goal is to work with customers to image, inspect, and load the vehicles on to TradeRev. Market Sales Coordinators are responsible for building relationships, training customers, and assisting customers with questions or concerns. As a TradeRev Representative in your market, you will be expected to provide feedback regarding progress of accounts and services. Coordinators will also be focused on maintaining and improving seller relationships. Duties and Responsibilities: * Promote TradeRev amongst franchise automotive dealerships, independent used vehicle dealers, and wholesale buyers * Visit customers in your territory and, by wielding top tech built into the app that's backed by artificial intelligence, collect data on wholesale vehicles for auctions on TradeRev * Prepare a detailed report to include with the vehicle listing * Complete an enhanced inspection that includes images and video of the vehicle to ensure transparency * Ensure vehicles have arrived in accordance to the "arrived vehicle" list * Work outdoors, in weather conditions consistent with your territory (rain, heat, cold, snow, etc.) * Work with sellers to provide training, in-field technical support, and other services to deliver a customer obsessed experience through fast, fair, and easy operational processes * Develop a thorough understanding of TradeRev policies, processes, procedures and the tools used in the conduct of enhanced inspections * Understand and react to the competitive landscape regarding all company policies, procedures, and systems with a customer impact * Assist customers with transportation and logistics questions * Manage daily appointment activity * Proactively communicate and maintain excellent working relationships with TradeRev users and partners * Facilitate feedback from accounts to assist with sales initiatives and improvements Desired Skills and Experience: * College Degree with a focus on Automotive Sales an asset; bachelor's degree preferred * A minimum of one (1) year of proven field or service/support experience is required * Prior experience within the automotive industry preferred * Experience in providing superior customer service * Experience and comfort with web and mobile technology is a must * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong attention to detail * Ability to maintain calm and diplomatic in dispute resolution situations * Autonomous, self-driven, proactive and a team player * Excellent organizational and communication skills * Competent Microsoft Office skills * Valid driver's license * Travel in excess of 75% We thank all interested candidates; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
