Automotive Dispatcher

The Automotive Service Dispatcher is experienced and results-focused, responsible for dispatching work to technicians and maintaining daily schedules for all technicians.

Description:

• Distribute shop work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy

• Assign work to the correct technician level

• Ensure that technicians follow warranty policy and procedure guidelines

• Administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedures

• Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly

• Ensure technicians complete the multi-point vehicle inspection forms

• Maintain a record of carryover vehicles

• Coordinate parts requirements with the Parts Department

• Spot-check repairs to assure quality and timely completion

• Ensure that all repair orders are accounted for and properly documented

• Assists in all other areas of the Service Department

• Achieves the production objectives set by management

• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions
