Automotive Dismantler

Job Snapshot:

• Day shift schedule, Monday - Friday

• Benefit and 401k options.

• You will help to dismantle vehicles safely and efficiently which will include but not be limited to the removal of engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension systems, water pumps, alternators etc

• Will be responsible for the labeling and tagging of parts

• Responsible for checking the quality and product type of all removed parts

• Dismantlers test engine and all electrical parts including batteries

• Responsible for draining and storing fluids

• Dismantlers are also in charge of maintaining a clean workspace and filling out all required work order paperwork

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1+ years of hands-on automotive repair/dismantling experience or equivalent

• Mechanical aptitude

• Basic understanding of the function of automobile parts

• May be required to own and maintain all the necessary mechanical tools including but not limited to hand tools, wrenches and power tools such as drills/drivers etc. Varies site-to-site and will be discussed during interview.

• Be able to lift at least 75lbs
