We are currently looking for hard-working and experienced sales professionals to add to our winning team. We seek highly qualified results-driven individuals for the position of Automotive Diagnostic Sales Representative.
The perfect candidate will have prior success selling demonstrable products to the management level and business users in a competitive market. This individual must excel at finding and closing new opportunities.
The ideal candidates will be goal-oriented, highly motivated, and will be able to work remotely, as well as in a team setting. In addition to having excellent hunting skills, the Automotive Diagnostic Sales Representative will position her/himself as a trusted advisor, taking pride in building the distributors knowledge of automotive diagnostic applications and selling techniques.

This individual will help distributors build their funnels and will make use of training and demonstration opportunities to impress end-users with a premium positioned, feature rich product family, including a unique, patented product. This will drive sales, increasing Matcos overall profitability, while also changing our customers lives, saving time, and enhancing efficiency and earnings.
Ideal candidates will have automotive diagnostic sales experience or industry vertical experience and will have the willingness to travel within an assigned region. The Automotive Diagnostic Sales Representatives should thrive on a base salary plus commission compensation structure.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Prospecting, developing and closing new business
Establishing and developing distributor relationships as well as end-user relationships within assigned territory
Participate in training and promotional events with distributors and end-users
Skills & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
3-5 years of outside, automotive diagnostic sales experience or equivalent experience in vertical industry
Experience using CRM software
Must reside in or relocate to assigned sales region
Must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds at a time
Must be willing and able to travel around territories and get on and off a mobile tool truck multiple times a day
