L3 ComCept is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to perform system requirements development, system design, integration, test, verification, and validation of an advanced technology distributed software system.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Collaborate with Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Test Engineers to determine test automation requirements and priorities and to identify candidates for inclusion in test automation

  • Develop and implement a strategy to automate and improve test coverage and software quality

  • Automate commonly repeated tasks to identify bugs earlier and deliver quality faster

  • Create, maintain and control test plans, test cases, test scripts and test data for repeatable and reliable testing

  • Document and evaluate test results and recommend improvement opportunities

  • Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases and test scripts

  • Provide test automation estimates, assist with testing forecasts, and monitor test budgets

  • Collect metrics and provide detailed reports of testing progress

  • Guide, coach and train teams in best testing practices

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Physics. A related technical Degree may be considered

  • Must have 9 or more years of experience in test automation

  • In-depth experience in test automation development

  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Test Complete, HPE UFT/QTP, etc.)

  • Ability to write scripts (e.g. Python, Perl, Powershell, Lua, etc.)

  • Experience with source control and configuration management tools

  • Detailed knowledge of testing methodologies

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity)

  • Experience with performance testing

  • Knowledge of Linux

  • Experience with cloud architecture

  • Prior involvement in Agile development environment

Candidates must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship and must be able to pass additional security background checks as required.

Broad Function: The Program Planner/Scheduler provides program scheduling, project control and Earned Value Analysis as a member of the Program Management Office on large complex projects and related proposals. The position requires exceptional organizational and multitasking skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams, functions, companies and customers. Duties and Responsibilities: * Prepare, develop and validate the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to capture the integrated master plan, milestones, deliverables and contractual requirements. * Coordinate and consolidate inputs to ensure all detailed work plans are consistent with and included in the Integrated Master Schedule. * Identify project and resource dependencies (predecessors and successors) to develop a predictive and realistic program schedule. * Provide planning assistance to Program Managers as needed. * Ensure the Program IMS is horizontally and vertically integrated and fully captures all discretely measurable scope-of-work. * Ensure all discrete scope and work effort across company functional groups is included and traceable to the WBS and SOW. * Generate and analyze the Critical Path and Identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts. * Analyze, monitor and review all project schedules to ensure resource limitations, interdependencies and risks are addressed. * Prepare data in support of Internal Program Reviews. * Generate and provide weekly and monthly IMS file deliverables per SOW, and CDRL/SDRL requirements. * Use Earned Value Analysis methods to baseline, ensure formal change control, report progress, identify, document and discuss performance variances, and program risk mitigation tasks to internal Management and the Customer(s). * Generate and provide all IMS files and traces to the PM(s), Customer(s) and DCMA as required. * Manage major subcontractors' IMS to ensure all suppliers' discretely measurable scopes of work are captured and traceable, rolling up to and supporting the Program IMS. * Provide input and recommendations to the Project Management Office and senior management regarding scheduling conflicts/changes. * Provide formal training to Program Managers and Business personnel as needed in Schedule Fundamentals and Earned Value Analysis (as necessary). * Develop and maintain an IPMP (Integrated Program Management Plan) for the program. Qualifications: The Program Planner/Scheduler must possess effective communication skills, be capable of interacting and leading a multi-functional, multi-site, multi-company team. In addition, The Program Master Scheduler must be experienced with problem solving techniques and incorporating and maintaining Program risks from the formal Risk Register with corresponding risk mitigation tasks in the IMS which trace to the Risk's schedule probability and consequence. The Program Master Scheduler shall be highly experienced in: * Schedule specific tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, etc. Working with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Fundamentals of Planning, w/ Cost/Schedule Integration & Schedule Analysis Critical Path Analysis * Schedule Risk Analysis – Leading the development, generating and analyzing the outputs and providing recommendation to the Program Management Office on task criticality and mitigations. Metric Analysis including BEI, CPLI, SPI, TCPI, TCPI (EAC) * Subcontractors schedule integration Managing Risk and Opportunity in the IMS by incorporation of formal Program risks from the Risk Register database. Required Education and Experience: * Bachelors Degree with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience to be considered. * Experience applying EVMS scheduling principles to Integrated Master Schedules to achieve & maintain compliance to Integrated Program Management Report and the Customer defined contractual requirements. * Experience developing extensively detailed, horizontally and vertically linked Integrated Master Schedules utilizing Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional or other similar scheduling software is required.
