Role Summary:

The Field Specialist (Automation Technician) will service and maintain Lufkin Automation equipment under the direct supervision of the Field Services leader.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical / electronic equipment

  • Perform on-site installation of electrical / electronic equipment, conduit, etc.

  • Use various electronic equipment and tolls including auto cranes, stud guns, etc.

  • Recognize and assess a variety of well optimization issues, either on own or by calling other technical specialists

  • Work with other business entities

  • Subjected to work in extreme temperatures for extended periods of time

  • Work in a hands on environment and able to lift 75 lbs

  • Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities

  • Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required

  • Travel 100% in the field to remote customer locations onshore

Essential Qualifications/

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of electrical experience

  • Possess or able to obtain Electrician Licensed (Journeyman or Masters Electrical License)

  • Possess a valid driver's license

  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required

  • To the extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a BHGE owned / leased or rented vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record

  • Ability to safely deploy to remote geographic assignment locations onshore

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Troubleshooting skills

  • Basic computer skills such as experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

  • Ability to work independently

  • Oilfield experience

  • Experience working with variable speed drives

  • Automation and instrumentation experience

  • Meet and maintain Customer service standards and quality

  • Always Follow HSE procedures

  • Able to manage inventory

VIEW JOBS 1/25/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-24T00:00 Role Summary: The Senior Warehouse and Yard Leader is responsible for all warehouse operations to ensure a safe, consistent daily operational environment and to build a culture of teamwork and accountability. In this role, the Area Warehouse Leader will develop, implement and execute standard processes and procedures for warehouse activities across all North America Land OFS product lines. These processes include receiving, storage, yard management, preservation, accuracy and the delivery of inventory to internal and external customers. This position is the key stakeholder in planning the distribution network to optimize product flow, material availability and ensuring warehouse centers are ready to meet operational demands. Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Senior Warehouse and Yard Leader, you will: * Promote the Five Fundamentals of Perfect HSE Day through safety meetings and Leadership visits. * Be responsible to develop, document and implement industry leading warehousing and distribution processes. * Ensure that distribution and warehousing policies and processes are consistent with the Business Transformation plans across the Region and in line with Global operations. * Ensure that the cycle counting and API counts are completed according to planned schedule. * Directly and indirectly, manage/lead the Area NAL warehousing team. * Implement Lean Six S. * Monitor warehouse performance against key performance indicators. * Conduct productivity reviews with local product line management regarding performance of warehousing activities. * Design the warehouse and yard layouts in order to improve efficiency, control inventory and inventory accuracy. Evaluates the utilization of docks, warehouse layout, and route truck loading patterns that minimize loading time. * Understand and comply with all environmental requirements, Health and Safety processes and policies, Quality Policies, the Quality Systems and Technical Procedures/Workplace Instructions as related to Warehousing functions. * Monitor and evaluate warehousing equipment and services. * Drive and submit cost reduction initiatives * Continually monitor warehousing trends, internal costs and productivity data to identify areas of improvement. * Be responsible for the coaching and development of warehouse personnel. * Demonstrate written, verbal and presentation skills, credible with internal stakeholders and external audiences. * Oversee the monitoring and recording of facility repairs and services. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: * Demonstrated front-line supervisor, 5+ years of experience managing and supervising personnel * Minimum of 5+ years of experience Warehouse management / Distribution / Operations / Asset and/or Inventory management * Knowledge and experience with the usage of barcoding, radio frequency identification (RFID) or QR codes * Problem-Solving, analytical, communication, leadership, coaching or mentoring skills * Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, SAP and Excel * Ability to travel, as required, to any NAL – OFS facility Desired Characteristics: * Knowledge of all Baker Hughes OFS product lines and services * Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership * Ability to manage priorities to achieve target results * Demonstrated knowledge of distribution systems – physical and digital * Proven analytical and organizational ability * Knowledge of the disciplines of warehouse management * Inclusive leadership style with proven ability to build a connection with the team through personal involvement and trust * Ability to cope with and resolve multiple complex situations daily * Proven mentoring and coaching abilities that demonstrate motivation and inspiration of others * Lean Six S Experience preferred * Knowledge of Warehouse management and Distribution Locations: Evansville, WY Baker Hughes Evansville WY
