Job Description:
This person will be traveling 50-70% of the time doing customer installs, repairs and commissioning.
The equipment is typically fluid processing equipment for the food and beverage industry but could be something as simple as conveyer / basic automation equipment as well.
This person will be responsible for repairing, maintaining and starting up equipment.
This person will provide communication between the customer and engineers and will be responsible for doing the documentation associated with the visit (IE what is going wrong, why, what did you troubleshoot).
This work is sometimes done over the phone (if possible) and is being created to free up more of the engineers time.
Skills & Qualifications:
PLC troubleshooting experience (do not need start to finish programming)
Installation & commissioning experience
Machine wiring experience
Mechanical knowledge - really just mechanically inclined, knows how to use hand tools and diagnose issues
Customer Service experience
