Leads and is accountable for delivery of automation projects for Xerox internal and external customers.

This position plays a key role understanding the client's requirements to craft winning solutions that are commercially acceptable to the customer. Conduct assessment and solutioning workshops to determine Automation feasibility and scope, develop business and technical solution to transform and automate the process.

Works in close collaboration with sales, bid management and service delivery, internal and external partners, the role holder will orchestrate and enable the delivery of won deals and POC solutions for potential customers.

Works with internal and partner development teams to govern and execute projects across various automation technologies like RPA, OCR/ICR, Chatbots, AI/ML.

This role is focused on project delivery within budget and timeline leveraging applicable automation technologies

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Bid/Sales Support: Supports the presales phase of deal pursuit. Assists with the preparation and delivery of service contract proposals, bids and tenders.

  • Solution Design: Provides technical input to Solution design. Shapes and architects automation proposals working with partner(s) where relevant.

  • Cost and Risk: Calibrates cost and risk associated with the solution. Able to articulate the entire solution to a client or partner on a technical and business level, clearly identifying benefits and risks.

  • Integration: Co-ordinates and engages the supporting shared services (e.g. Global Delivery Team) and service delivery teams - as well as partner input where relevant - to develop seamless end to end service design for customers.

  • Delivery: Manages all aspects of delivery including vendor selection where relevant. Manages day to day project deliverables and helps remove blockers for build team with respect to access, approvals, business requirements understanding etc. Gives weekly update to stakeholders on projects. Stays engaged for the entire project lifecycle till handover to Production Support.

Solution consultant certification for RPA technologies like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism

Min/Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Overall experience of 12-15 years with at least 2-3 years in solutioning, deploying RPA technologies like UiPath/Blue Prism/Automation Anywhere and/or ML/AI capabilities like OCR/ICR, image recognition, NLP, chatbots etc.

  • Sound experience in designing innovative RPA solutions in response to clients key business drivers leveraging technologies like RPA/ML/AI/NLP/Chatbots

  • Domain knowledge of key functions like Finance, HR, Order to Cash, Supply Chain is added advantage

  • Should have experience in conducting assessment and solutioning workshops to be able to determine Automation feasibility and scope

  • Proven ability to innovate to provide solutions that improve client's business performance

  • Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills

  • The ability to analyze issues and to find resolution to problems by using a rational, systematic approach

Purpose: The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for the specification of systems architecture and identification of components. The role holder researches, analyzes, designs, proposes, and delivers IT architecture solutions that are optimal for the business and IT strategies. Provides integrated systems analysis and recommends appropriate hardware, software, and communication links required to support IT goals and strategy. Ensures architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices for existing and planned systems remain compatible within IT infrastructure. The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for ensuring the architectural design of an IT system solution that support the architecture strategy, positions for future functional requirements, standards and roadmaps, meets the short term business functional requirements, and fits with the current architecture. Domains: * The role holder should have an understanding of all the architectural domains that follow, and have an in depth knowledge of one or more of the domains. * Technical/Infrastructure: Plan and improve infrastructure architecture; Establish technology standards and manage adherence and ensure leveragability across the enterprise; Bridge between Technology Domain Architects and Solution Architects * Application: Manage the evolution of the application portfolio; Establish strategic direction for application selection and development approaches; Establish application design guidelines and patterns * Data: Promote understanding of how data is created and used in the enterprise; Promote sharing /adoption; Establish data management strategies and standards; expertise in one or more key data areas (Product, Customer) Primary Responsibilities: * Specifies and designs large or complex systems (e.g. involving significant team size and interaction, integration with multiple systems, covers multiple business processes or geographic regions). Selects appropriate design standards, methods and tools and ensures that they are applied effectively. * Reviews others' system design to ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technology. * Evaluates and undertakes impact analysis on major design options.
