About This Opportunity

InComm is hiring a Senior Automation Engineer to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL and be very involved with the Serve Platform which provides innovative payment capabilities powered by a best in class prepaid platform within the InComm Ecosystem. In this role you will be developing for automation using C# and Selenium in an aggressive agile environment. We're a .NET shop with some .NET core and API based service as far as coding. Our environment is far along in a DevOps model and moving into Azure DevOps by the end of this year.   • Design and develop automation framework in an agile development environment

  • Build and scale CI/CD automation pipelines

  • Create and implement automation regression suites for cross-technology applications

  • Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability

  • Design and maintain Quality Assurance Automation, Azure DevOps infrastructure, and various micro-services

  • Use C# Code to create and maintain Automation scripts

  • Create C# Scripts and automate GUI tests across multiple real browser combinations using Cross browser testing tool

  • Maintain quality for all supported systems within both test and production environments for both manual and automated testing

  • Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain quality strategies, methodologies, as well as validation methods within a multi-tiered information technology environment across multiple cross functional teams including Dev, QA, UX, Marketing, Ownership and App Delivery/Support

  • Collaborate with team members to review assigned deliverables and determine work effort and timelines for delivering any proposed change; provide estimations for project and sprint level efforts

  • Work within an Agile environment to develop and maintain the following:

  • Automated Performance tests for both service layer and UI

  • Test Planning

  • Test Execution

  • Test Result Reporting

  • Defect Reporting

  • Automated Performance Testing

  • Automated Regression Testing

  • Production Deployment Validations

  • Communications

  • Use Db queries (for filling and updating the cache) to highly optimize SQL performance queries

  • Analyze code issues by finding root cause using SPLUNK

  • Identify and implement quality goals, strategies, and scheduling for all deliverables

  • Identify and report potential quality risks to the team and department

  • Establish standards and procedures to ensure quality

  • Execute quality test efforts and roll out QA SOPs into test methodology lifecycles

  • Confer with team members to coordinate technical advice and resolve problems

  • Coordinate and respond to requests for change

  • Monitor results against technical specifications

  • Develop and maintain document standards for ongoing quality efforts

  • Develop and distribute result documentation to all applicable stakeholders


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field required

  • 3+ years of test automation development experience using Selenium, C#, and required

  • 3+ years developing in any Object Oriented language (C#, Java, Ruby, .Net, Python, etc.)

  • 3+ years experience with test automation disciplines, methodology, and tools

  • Demonstrated experience within the software industry, software test engineering concepts and processes

  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and anti-patterns

  • Solid understanding of relational database structures, indexes, theories, principles, and practices

  • Able to leverage structured formats like JSON, YAML, XML and related technologies to build scalable, testable RESTful applications

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps a plus

  • Ability to effectively communicate to internal personnel on quality expectations and delivery of quality documentation, test executions, and results

  • Knowledge of adaptive/responsive design patterns and with backend API end point validations

  • Demonstrated knowledge in IT operation pertaining to quality methodologies and practices

  • Demonstrated knowledge of payment processing systems

  • Ability to automate all test execution and validation methods using LISA, Soap UI and Selenium

  • Ability to analyze results and view all applicable information to determine potential causes as well as view code and logs to determine root cause

  • Advanced knowledge of quality methods and practices supporting all quality endeavors within IAS
