DPS is looking to identify an Automation Engineer to work for a Biotech Client in the Boston, MA area. The Automation Engineer is responsible for the qualification and implementation of a Building Management Systems configuration, administration and maintenance. This individual will have the ability to translate manufacturing process information into the design of control systems that will be utilized by equipment systems employed in the manufacture of biological products.
Additionally, the individual must troubleshoot control system problems and then document and recommend the solution to that problem.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer, Science or related technological field
Experience with DeltaV, Siemens, Rockwell or other similar process control system
8+ years of relevant work experience
Thorough understanding and experience qualifying Building Management Systems (BMS)
Direct experience with regulated environments (i.e. cGMP, OSHA, EPA)
PLC, cGMP experience, Computer Software Validation (CSV), computer programming and process experience in a Biopharmaceutical environment.
Experience with GAMP
Good communication skills and organization skills must
