What you will do in this role:

You will be working closely with the product engineering DevOps development teams to craft an endpoint (workstations and servers) management solution that ensures that all endpoints are built in a secure, automated, and archivable fashion with a primary goal of helping to accelerate the development process. This will include image management, patch management, automated tool deployment and application deployment; all managed within a DevOps development model.

As a Lead Consultant for Affinity, you will work as an advocate for the business gathering requirements from customers and end users ensuring that our solution meets the overall business need.

Responsibilities:

  • Comfortable in an operational role with the ability to talk to customers, decipher business problems and translate them into technical solutions

  • Utilizing Agile Development models, SAFe, DevOps, or CI/CD Development

  • Deploying packaged solutions for OS Windows, Linux and MAC

  • Utilizing scripting skills for deployment using tools such as Chef, Puppet, PowerShell, Ansible, OR PowerCLI

  • Assisting with the cloud solution with tools such as VMWare, VMware vRealize Automation, or RightScale, etc

  • Image creation including OS installation and patching, security patching, application installation and patching

  • Utilizing cloud management and analytics tools for public, private or hybrid cloud

  • Application packaging and deployment in an automated fashion delivered via a service catalog

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in talking to customers and meeting business requirements
