Job Title: Automation Engineer

Job Description

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for manipulating code to integrate mechanical devices as specified by mechanical engineers, focusing on creating user interfaces. This role involves designing, building, programming, commissioning, and handing off finished automation systems. The engineer will participate in meetings and communicate with customers to understand their needs thoroughly.

Hard Skills

• Experience in Rockwell software including RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE, and RSLinx

• OEM background

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical; experience with other AutoCAD packages also considered

• Experience with industrial refrigeration systems is advantageous

Soft Skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

• Strong communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Midland, Texas.

Work Environment

The position is based in Midland, TX, as part of a new team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in establishing the team culture.
