Description:
This Engineer will need to be well versed in control systems, along with experience in industrial control panels and manufacturing equipment. They will need work in a collaborative team setting to take on project from start to finish. Includes participating in meetings and communicating with the customer to understand the need in order to design, build, program, commission and handoff the finished automation system.
Responsibilities:
Electrical design and hardware specification of industrial control panels.
Design and program sophisticated control systems.
Simulate, test, and debug control systems in-house.
Install and startup systems at the end-user's facility.
Provide continuing system technical support over the phone or on-site.
Requirements:
Proficient in Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE and RSLinx)
Experiences should include specifying components and designing industrial control panels.
Experience in compliance with regulatory and approval agency requirements (UL508A, NEC, etc.)
Mitsubishi PLC and HMI programming skills a plus.
AutoCAD Electrical experience a plus.
Experience with industrial refrigeration systems a plus.
Must also possess good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to develop programming which meets customer specifications, with attention to details.
Education: Applicable Engineering Degree or five years project engineering and/or project management experience on control system integration projects
