Automation Architect

Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Automation Architect who will be responsible for leading large Transformation & Automation engagement for strategic client, defining Automation roadmap, recommending automation tools & frameworks and responsible for implementation and delivery of automation deliverables for TCOE program.

Responsibilities:

• Automation Architect will have complete ownership for leading Transformation & Automation engagement, owning deliverables, preparing test automation solution, designing automation frameworks and lead the implementation of test strategy, test plans & test execution of the product.

• Supports automation script development and the optimization of those scripts.

• Recommends new tools, techniques and methodologies needed to enhance productivity and quality

• Create a standard framework for Functional Automation, Performance Testing and Security and Penetration Testing. Presents technical documentation for review by peers and Development community.

• Develop automation strategy to support regression testing based on the technical analysis, complexity, and reusability

• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, UFT, TOSCA, Scriptless automation tools, Data validation tools, CI/CD tools, Ansible/Puppet/Chef, Jenkins or similar

• Be a thought leader with customers and partners on the technical fundamentals of our solutions

• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture and principles

• Amazon Web Services / Azure or other Public Cloud IaaS experience

• Based on industry trends, modern techniques and tools maintain and develop Automation / Transformation roadmap and artifacts for wide spectrum of technologies (mobile, web, Big data, ERP)

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• 18+ years of Software Testing experience with 12+ years of Test Automation hands on experience (including POC's & Automation framework creation) leading Automation Solution delivery for a large engagement

• 15+ years of working in Agile, Scaled Agile or Waterfall models

• Experience managing large Testing teams and worked preferably in TCOE engagement setup

• Hands-on experience implementing one of these Test Automation tools

• Selenium OR UFT, TOSCA.

• Experience in tracking Test automation and Digital assurance metrics

Preferred Skills/Qualification:

• Working latest cutting-edge technologies in field of Automation

• Functional, Mobile, DevOps & CI/CD

• Possess good communication skills, presentation skills, self-motivated, pro-active, task oriented, good team player, and quick learner at new technologies and systems.

• Extensively proficient in Functional testing, Integration testing, GUI testing, and Regression testing, Automation testing, UAT testing on client/server as well as web-based applications

• Tricentis TOSCA Test Automation Specialist certification is preferred

• AWS Cloud Practitioner certified is nice to have

• Must be extremely detail and technology oriented and possess excellent communications skills

• Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews

• Knowledge in security testing, performance testing, performance tuning is a definite plus
