A Developer/Tester is needed to configure and implement automated testing of software as part of an Automated Testing Team. As an Agile cross-functional team member, additional duties include executing system level and defect tests. Primary Roles and Responsibilities include

  • Developing consistent, reusable and reliable methods for automated testing.

  • Working in a Lean-Agile environment as a cross-functional team member developing and executing automated tests, and performing manual tests.

  • Engineering, authoring, tuning and documenting automation scripts in a development environment and deploying to the test/production bench.

  • Applying consistent, reusable, and reliable automated testing methods.

  • Promoting code reuse and cross-program collaboration while reducing maintenance costs by creating common functions and shared actions for developers and testers.

  • Executing system level tests using published procedures.

  • Performing defect testing using ad hoc or published procedures.
