Job Description

We are hiring an Electrical Engineer responsible for cradle-to-grave project implementation. The role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical elements of projects from design to completion
• Create, develop, and manage electrical systems and components
• Design electrical controls panels
• Design control panels
• Order materials
• Develop and refine current standards

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ideally electrical) & 2+ years of experience OR an Associate's in Engineering (ideally electrical) & 4+ years of experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D and 3D design
• Experience with PLC programming and HMI programming software would be a plus

Work Environment

Our company is smaller and privately owned, with management onsite. We have our own brick-and-mortar facility where engineers will spend a significant amount of time on concepting and engineering work. We service a variety of industries, including agriculture, grain handling, chemical processing, metals, discrete manufacturing, and pet foods. The position is hourly, with overtime eligibility for hours worked over 40. Engineers enjoy autonomy and the opportunity to own projects from start to finish. The company is privately owned by an electrical engineer, ensuring leadership understands technical aspects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
