The instructor will teach automotive technology courses which are consistent with the objectives of local business/industry partners and aligned with the state and district curriculum. The instructor shall direct the learning experiences of the students by planning, organizing, and implementing rigorous hands-on career field instruction and character development that are needed to obtain gainful employment in the industry.
The instructor shall work to prepare students for course assessments, certification, and relevant/applicable industry-recognized credentials. The instructor shall effectively demonstrate computer literacy, problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills. Willingness/ability to work with students, teachers, administration, parents/guardians, and business/industry partners as a team member.
Assist and guide students with youth club activities (SkillsUSA).
