AutoZone's Full-Time Auto Parts Delivery Driver performs work in the operation of a vehicle to assure safe delivery of parts to and from commercial customers. In addition, this AutoZoner will be required to perform duties inside our stores, driving, and at our customers' place of business. Drivers are responsible for ensuring maximum productivity in a safe environment, increasing commercial sales, and ensuring compliance with company procedures in accordance to AutoZone's expectations. The incumbent will exceed customer's expectations by delivering WOW! Customer Service to all AZ Commercial accounts.


  • Provides WOW! Customer Service

  • Utilizes ZNET to help customers locate merchandise or find suitable alternatives

  • Adheres to AutoZone dress code

  • Follows all company policies, procedures and management direction, including all fleet and safety policies

  • Ensures commercial products are delivered on time and in excellent condition

  • Drives delivery vehicle to transport parts to Commercial customers, including the loading and unloading of parts

  • Maintains a safe driving and working environment, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

  • Picks up parts from nearby stores and outside vendors

  • Ensure appropriate delivery documentation is generated and issued for each delivery, then appropriately filed at the AutoZone store

  • Follows proper accident procedures

  • Properly maintains vehicle(s) and takes the necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance issues

  • Ensures that assigned company vehicle is kept clean and presentable

  • Builds long term professional relationships with the customers

  • Handles cash transactions, charge transactions, and core/part returns per company policy and guidelines

  • Inspects, protects, and maintains company assets, merchandise, and vehicles

  • Assists DIY customers between deliveries by performing the following duties:

  • Utilizes OBDII to read codes from customer's automobiles

  • Practices GOTTChA and assists with the installation of wipers blades, batteries and light bulbs

  • Maintains product knowledge and current promotions through AutoZone systems and information sources

  • Maintains store appearance and merchandising standards as directed

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required

  • Excellent communication and decision making skills

  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs, including holidays, evenings and weekend shifts

  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet AutoZone's driving requirements

  • Drivers 21 years or older

VIEW JOBS 11/18/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-16T00:00 Serving the greater Stanislaus County with 423 plus acute care beds, Memorial Medical Center provides a full continuum of care including 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, nuclear medicine, dialysis therapy, diagnostic imaging, intensive care, physical therapy, and home health. Specialized care includes Memorial Regional Cancer Center and Memorial Heart Institute. The RN functions within the full scope of licensure to implement the nursing process. The RN will assess patient and family needs, develop a plan of care based on assessment, direct implementation of the plans of care for a group of patients, collaborate with the charge nurse and care team, and evaluate effectiveness of the care plan. Duties will include administration of medications, performing prescribed treatments, managing medical equipment, assisting with patient ADL (activities of daily living) including lifting, turning, and mobilizing patients. The RN assures that physiological, psychosocial, safety, learning, rehabilitative, spiritual, cultural, and self-care needs of patients and families are addressed. The RN actively participates in supporting and meeting the hospital's goals for patient satisfaction and national quality core measures. The RN is evaluated based on the Benner model of clinical competence. This model recognizes the process of professional development, which moves from beginning understanding and application of nursing principles to expert practice acquired through experience and formal training. Five primary domains define nursing care at MMC: Nursing Process, Clinical Knowledge and Decision Making, Nurse Patient Relationship, Collaboration, and Leadership. It is recognized that RNs develop skills and abilities as they synthesize knowledge while moving through defined stages of learning. The evaluation is based on how the individual meets defined standards. Minimum Qualifications: * Current and valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California or must obtain prior to commencement of employment. * Minimum of one (1) year recent experience (within the past five (5) years) working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care facility or successful completion of MMC's Clinical Nurse Resident (CNR) program, in departments where the CNR program is available. * Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing process in addressing physical, psychosocial, and psychological needs of patients. * Ability to demonstrate basic knowledge of unit specific age criteria for patient population. * Must demonstrate critical thinking skills. * Timely completion of unit specific orientation and competencies. * Ability to navigate and perform required electronic documentation for the job using a windows based system. * Ability to read, write, hear and verbally communicate in English to the degree required to perform the job. * Must possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate. * Must be able to travel in accordance with any requirements of your job (if MMC and/or own vehicle used on MMC business, must possess valid California Driver's License and upon request proof of liability insurance). * Must also meet department specific requirements for applicable department (See Department Specific Requirement below). * Physical & Mental Requirements: See attached Statement of Physical & Environmental Factors and A35 Mental Components. Preferred Qualifications: * Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. * National certification in area of specialty. * Greater than one (1) year of working experience in a similar unit with comparable patient acuity. Labor and Delivery – 107400 – CNR program is not available in this department: 1. Current Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification or must obtain within 90-days of employment. 2. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must obtain within 90-days of employment. 3. Current Basic Fetal Monitoring certification or must obtain within six (6) months of hire*. * Must obtain Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification within two (2) years of hire*. * RN with less than one year of L&D experience, must obtain basic fetal monitoring within 6 months of hire and then advanced fetal monitoring within 2 years after that. For nurses with one year or more experience, must obtain advance fetal monitoring certification within one year of hire.) Preferred: 1.
