Position Responsibilities

  • Provides WOW! Customer Service

  • Drives delivery vehicle to transport parts to commercial customers, including the loading and unloading of parts

  • Picks up returns, cores and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors

  • Maintains a safe driving and working environment, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

  • Assist do it yourself customers in the store between deliveries

  • Follows all company policies, procedures, dress code and management direction, including all fleet and safety policies

  • Handle cash and charge transactions per company policy

  • Maintain product knowledge and current promotions through AutoZone systems and information resources

Position Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license and able to meet AutoZone's driver requirements.

  • Ability to lift load and deliver merchandise

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays weekends and evenings

  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills

Essential Functions of job: a. Follows Written Care Plan established by the Registered Nurse if applicable b. Provides Personal Care which may include: bathing, shampooing, dressing, shopping, preparation, and serving of meals. c. Assists the consumer with moving around including but not limited to: aid with getting in and out of bed, from their bed to a wheelchair, on and off toilet, in and out of the bathtub, seated position to standing with a walker, and other assistance moving around as needed. d. Provides assistance with housekeeping, which may include: dishwashing, dusting, laundry, linen changes, sweeping/vacuuming, and cleaning rooms, windows (inside only), cabinets and appliances. e. Interacts and engages in conversation with consumer. f. Reminds consumer to take their medications. g. Demonstrates appropriate safety measures when providing care. h. Recognizes emergencies; follows emergency procedures as well as instruction provided by emergency personnel. i. Reports immediately to the agency, upon each incident, all known information regarding consumer hospitalization and discharge from hospital. j. Informs supervisor of any unexpected or unusual changes in the consumer's condition, behavior, environment, and family situation. k. Maintains confidentiality of consumer records and related information in accordance with HIPAA and agency guidelines. l. Encourages consumer's independence in performing life activities. m. Establishes positive rapport with the consumer and their family. n. Follows Universal Precautions and Infection Control procedures. o. Notifies consumer and supervisor of unscheduled absences in accordance with agency policies and deadlines. p. Completes and submits timesheets weekly and the schedule of consumer visits monthly. q. Comprehends and follows all Agency policies and procedures. r. Maintains up-to-date CPR, First Aid certifications and other compliance documents where applicable. "Ability to perform the Essential Functions on the Physical Conditions chart; and the ability to perform the Essential Functions on the Working Conditions chart (see attached charts)" 1. Other duties of job: a. Accompanies consumer to appointments when authorized by your supervisor. b. Assists consumer with sorting through boxes to eliminate clutter, removing rubbish, and garbage accumulation (animal and human waste excluded), and packing and unpacking consumer belongings when consumer changes residence, cleaning attic, basement or other storage areas to eliminate fire and safety hazards when specifically directed by supervisor. c.
