How YOU will help make a difference for BHW clients & families:
Provide direct 1:1 support to individuals diagnosed with autism (or a related disorder) in their homes, schools, and/or community.
Teach children & youth how to communicate, socialize, and play through the use of research-based techniques. Not to worry - we will teach you all of our best techniques during training!
Collaborate with BHW clinicians to implement detailed plans you will follow when working with your client.
Encouraging your clients and helping them to reach their highest potential. Let's not forget to celebrate their progress along the way!
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completed college courses (previously enrolled or currently enrolled)
Reliable transportation & the ability to travel up to 30 miles from your place of residence to provide home and/or school sessions where public transportation may or may not be available.
Active auto insurance or the ability to obtain auto insurance.
Available for 12 - 25 hours per week.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
US Work authorization.
Ability to navigate and utilize basic technology such as tablet usage, electronic documentation, email, calendar, etc.
Preferred: At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, etc).

Interview request from the recruiter via email for a 30-minute virtual, video interview.
30-minute virtual interview with one of our amazing recruiters.
We will follow up with you within 24 hours of your interview for the next steps.
If extended an offer, you will be required to complete a background check and other additional onboarding requirements.
Our interview & hiring process for Behavior Technicians can be completed in 1 - 2 weeks depending on your availability.
Compensation: $20 - $23 depending on experience

You have experience as or have a passion for being a Paraprofessional, Caregiver, Youth Coach, Education, Healthcare, Hospice Care, Interventionist, Social Services, Foster Care, Special Education, Social Work, Aide, Youth Program Coordinator, Behavior Specialist, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Nanny, Babysitter, Preschool Teacher or Assistant, Tutor, Substitute Teacher, Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Mental Health/Autism Advocate, Behavioral Health Technicians, Direct Support Professionals, Camp Counselor, Childcare Volunteer, Sunday School Teacher, After School Programs, or a related field.
You are working towards a degree in or have completed a degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Sociology, Human Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
