vcfo, a provider of an integrated suite of offerings for finance, human resources and recruiting, who operates with the EOS methodology, seeks a Consulting Controller for the Austin market. Reporting to the Austin Practice Leader, the Consulting Controller will work with a team constructed of other professionals with unique experiences and skill sets, working with diversified clients in size, industry, and business complexity in and around the Austin area, to form a well-rounded solution for any client.

As a Consulting Controller, you will support multiple client companies onsite and/or occasionally virtually with their daily and strategic accounting operations by performing functions such as:

  • Generation of timely and accurate monthly financial statements.

  • Creation of management reporting package, KPI's, and Dashboards.

  • Creation and maintenance of corporate forecasts.

  • Providing tactical support for funding activities (such as M&A support, due diligence, term sheet review and evaluation, development of proforma cap-tables, coordination of funding close).

  • Assisting in the financial preparation of Board packages.

  • Development of financial policies and procedures.

  • Providing guidance and leadership in the enhanced use of ERP systems, conversions, and/or the selection of future software as required to support financial operations.

  • Experience managing other accounting staff and/ or working in a team environment.
