Accountemps is looking for an individual in the Boise area that is wanting to work as an Auditor. This person in this role will be responsible for ensuring the compliance standard and policies are met, completing the auditor paperwork/documentations for tests and findings, maintaining internal control systems and providing recommendations for new policies and procedures. Other responsibilities for this role include, are not limited to:

  • Communicate audit findings through reports

  • Prepare special audit and control forms

  • Report research findings

  • Comply with federal, state and local legal requirements

Identifies risks and controls, concludes on the effectiveness of controls, and determines how the effectiveness of the internal controls affects achievement of corporate objectives and compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and external regulations. Develops and prepares reports for presentation to all levels of management. Participates in annual company-wide risk assessment. REQUIRED SKILLS Knowledge of: * Internal auditing standards and techniques * Internal control standards (COSO) * Information systems controls (COBIT) * Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404 * Familiarity with Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) auditing standards * Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Skills in: * System and process analysis * Interpersonal communication * Business writing * Work paper design and preparation. Ability to: * Work independently to plan, perform, and document audit tests utilizing standard audit techniques in accordance with applicable auditing standards * Review company systems and related controls including policies, procedures, and technical documents to ensure compliance * Design risk based audit objectives and tests to achieve those objectives * Communicate progress, findings and recommendations clearly, concisely and in a logical manner to all levels of management * Quickly learn varied and complex concepts * Make sound judgments based on analysis of facts * Maintain objectivity and function in a confidential manner * Maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients * Be self-motivated, well-organized, and project oriented and complete projects within deadlines. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: * Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. * Prefer: * Advanced degree in Business or related discipline. Experience: * Level I: Two to five years of experience in auditing business processes and activities. * Level II: Five plus years of experience in auditing business processes and activities. * Prefer: * Public company and/or national CPA firm audit experience.
