  • The Auditor III plans, implements, and provides project oversight as needed, on small, moderately sized, or complex auditing assignments, which may include but are not limited to litigation, investigations, internal systems, and processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs analysis of data and documentation in order to arrive at results in accordance with the stated objectives of the auditing assignments.

  • Prepares interim and final oral and written reports to designated SEC representatives on status and results of audit assignments.

  • Makes oral and written recommendations based on audit results.

  • May support audit teams conducting large and complex audit assignments.

  • May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Master's degree and/or certification(s) in a related labor category field from an accredited college, university, school or educational institution that has been accredited by accrediting bodies or organizations recognized by the US Department of Education and at least five (5) years of relevant technical experience.

  • Ability to provide favorable credit history

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to work effectively in an extremely pressured environment.

  • Must have and use excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft 2010 or newer programs.

The Medical Laboratory Technician III supervises subordinate personnel, for example, Medical Laboratory Technician II employees, student assistants, extra help staff, students and residents. Duties: Receive a wide variety of patient specimens arriving at the laboratory for testing. Using independent judgment and following established guidelines, decide whether specimen type and quality is suitable. Notify physician if unacceptable. Perform computer procedures for test requesting, canceling or crediting tests ordered. Verify billing information. Prioritize and organize work. Perform required procedures to process specimens: centrifuges, aliquots, inoculates, etc. Distribute samples appropriately; maintain specimen storage. Required to communicate matters of technical importance to physicians, staff and customers on multiple systems as is appropriate. Answer phones for inquiries of results. Recall data via LIS and report by phone. Trace results not yet posted. Call STAT/critical results to clinics and units according to policy and procedure. Use the laboratory computer for all functions related to testing of patient specimens: run patient and lab reports and perform other computer functions i.e. backups. Verify and perform proper follow up for neonatal screens. Perform routine maintenance procedures and function checks on laboratory centrifuges using established procedures. Maintain the laboratory work area so that it is organized, neat and uncluttered. Assist with the supervision of subordinate personnel. Refer all problems to supervisor. Seek and obtain guidance from supervisor regarding questionable test results. Perform other duties as assigned.
