Job Description:

Audit Supervisor position responsible for developing and executing an audit program designed to independently validate the completeness and accuracy of data across the enterprise. Candidate will be responsible for testing the completeness and accuracy of data from point of origin, to systems of record, through business use (e.g. reporting) by independently querying systems data.

Additionally, candidate will be responsible for reviewing the key processes, risks and controls within the business and control functions as it relates to data and as outlined in the Enterprise Data Management standard. Associate will assist in identifying business/processes requiring coverage, developing test plans and working with business audit teams to execute testing. Audit testing results across the enterprise will be pulled together to establish a point of view on Bank of America Data Control Effectiveness.

Associate will be required to communicate and deliver results with top executives across the enterprise, drive issue identification and work with businesses and control functions to build solutions. Assist in the ownership of key regulatory matters related to data management. Strong problem solving, critical thinking, communication and project management skills are required.

Required Job Skills:

Strong critical thinking, problem solving, analytical mindset required

SQL / SAS Programming capability or other automation experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Project Management skills including multi-tasking

Information Technology or data experience

Desired Job Skills:

Advanced degree or certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA etc)

Knowledge of Bank of America business processes and front end application systems

Applies advanced data analytics concepts within the audit framework in order to evaluate risks and controls to assess the effectiveness of various business operating environments. Defines, drives, and executes against an overall strategy to incorporate data analytics across areas of assigned audit coverage. Will contribute to a broader strategy to automate audit testing. Typically acts as Auditor-in-Charge (AIC) and leads matrix teams to deliver audit projects across multiple Lines of Business. Requires an entrepreneurial sprit and demonstrates strategic thinking in areas of data analytics, automation, and audit concepts. Oversees audit testing to ensure timely execution within quality standards and conformance to audit policies and procedures. Assesses issues for impact to business processes, controls and strategies, recommends severity ratings and escalation of broad themes or trends. Manages business partner relationships when conducting specific audits; primary engagement is with line management. Exercises critical thinking and judgment to effectively influence management to improve the control environment. When leading an audit engagement, is responsible for day to day coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback. Fosters an inclusive work environment. This role will have exposure to data related to all Lines of Business (Consumer, Global Markets, etc) and Control Functions (Risk, Compliance, etc). Ideal candidate will be intellectually curious and have background in data analysis and experience with internal audit methodology. Experience with internal audit and banking products is strongly preferred. Candidate will have the ability to operate in a fast paced environment with multiple concurrent priorities. Minimum Qualifications: College degree required. 5 -7+ years of relevant experience.
