The Audit Services - Early Talent Development Program candidates will participate in a one-year early talent development program (ETDP) designed to advance technical internal audit skills, professional development, and financial services industry knowledge to jumpstart a career in audit. High preforming graduates will complete robust simulation based training combined with hands-on experience in the end to end audit life cycle. Individual training and hands-on opportunities will focus on achieving a working knowledge of internal audit while developing skills pertaining to assessing risks, understanding internal controls, analyzing information / data, documenting workpapers, and effective communications (written and oral). During the one-year ETDP, the Audit Analyst reports to a Professional Practices Audit Director. The Professional Practices Group (PPG) provides underlying operational support to the audit execution team which includes learning and development. Upon completion of the ETDP, the Audit Analyst will be placed on an audit execution team and have the option to rotate periodically onto other audit execution teams. Placements onto teams will be based on each participant's demonstrated skill set, interest and department needs. Audit Execution Teams:

  • Information Technology

  • Finance/HR/Treasury/Capital Markets

  • Compliance/Risk/Legal/Marketing

  • Auto Finance and Insurance

  • Consumer and Commercial Banking Products Job Responsibilities Upon completion of the one-year ETDP, primary job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Application of foundational audit skills, including an intermediate understanding of internal control concepts

  • Execution and documentation of audit tests in accordance with Audit Services policies and procedures

  • Completion of audits within defined plans, budgets and schedules

  • Demonstration and participation as an ETDP Ambassador (e.g. recruiting activities, mentoring, etc.) Qualifications * 0-2 years of related experience preferred

  • Required Bachelor's Degree in various disciplines (i.e. Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Internal Audit, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Statistics, etc.) * Detail-oriented, deadline driven, self-directed and organized individual preferred

  • Good written and verbal communications skills preferred

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately

  • Ability to understand risk and control concepts

  • Willingness to work and interact with others in team environment
