ATLANTA TOP 25 CPA FIRM seeks an AUDIT SENIOR to act at the In Charge of audits and will be responsible for all stages including planning, fieldwork and wrap up of audits in the manufacturing and distribution, high-tech, and service industries.



Lead and perform audit engagements and provide recommendations
Supervise, lead, and mentor staff.
Prepares clear and concise work-papers with definitive conclusions.
Demonstrates an awareness of new business opportunities
Ability to direct and control concurrent assignments to successful completion.
Ability to identify issues and apply accounting principles and auditing procedures.
Anticipates problems and issues, and keeps the manager informed of engagement status.
Pro-active in the bottom-line management of assigned engagements.

3+ years of public accounting experience
Bachelors in Accounting
CPA required
Strong analytical skills.

Essential Functions: * Efficiently and effectively perform internal audit and regulatory compliance audits for financial institutions under the supervision of a supervising senior, manager and/or partner. * Demonstrate expertise in accounting/auditing/internal control matters unique to the financial institution industry and effectively communicate such knowledge. * Demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory environment in which financial institutions operate and effectively communicate such knowledge. * Proactively/effectively communicate with client management to efficiently complete audit related projects and manage client expectations. * Demonstrate leadership and team work related to multiple engagements both within the practice unit and across the firm's footprint within the financial services industry line.
