We are looking for an experienced auditor who is a sharp analytical thinker to join our growing knowledge organization. Our Information & Knowledge group is at a pivotal point, moving from our legacy to a next generation content management system. The audit business skills that you bring will be directly utilized, and expanded through this initiative.

Work you'll do:

In this interesting and diverse role, you will work with our global Audit & Assurance business stakeholders to maintain and publish technical materials to our audit (Omnia, EMS) and research platforms (Technical Library). Those materials are used by our auditors to execute high quality Audit and Assurance engagements. You will also play a key role in the development of our next generation information and knowledge management system, as a subject matter expert, shaping the tools that we use to manage our audit content. The role will include:

  • Authoring content in response to the changing audit standards and the needs of our Audit & Assurance business

  • Supporting the development and publishing of content within our global network

  • Partnering with our global transformation initiatives, providing the knowledge on how to structure and deploy newly developed solutions

  • Working with our technology teams on the transition to our next generation content system

Who you'll work with:

In Audit & Assurance Products & Solutions, we make an impact by providing content that is used by all Deloitte Audit Practitioners in the execution of Audit & Assurance engagements around the globe. You will coordinate with our Global and member firm stakeholders to create and release new and updated content, which may be localized for each country around the world. Our contributions directly support those engagements and the continued transformation of our Global Audit & Assurance business.

Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience leading and delivering audit services, preferably over various audit engagements

  • Knowledge of the potential impact of technology on audit delivery

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, with an interest in innovative and creative thinking

  • Excellent understanding of audit methodologies and approaches

  • Self-directed, comfortable working independently, and without daily supervision

  • Interest in working on strategic initiatives in a collaborative environment

  • Ability to productively manage and work within a virtual team

  • Strong English communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Willing to travel globally

Education and experience:

  • College degree (or equivalent).

Preferred:

  • Experience developing audit or learning content in response to professional standards

  • Professionally Qualified or Certified Auditor/Accountant (e.g., CPA / CA / ACCA)
