Bachelor's Degree or higher & CPA license Griffing & Company P.C. is a growing, full-service CPA firm in Sugar Land. We are searching for an extraordinary individual to join our team as an Audit Manager. The successful candidate must have recent public accounting firm experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, fieldwork, financial statement preparation, and wrap up activities while effectively controlling time and expenses Supervise, train, guide, and counsel senior and staff accountants during all stages of the audit process Maintain client relationships Ability to prioritize daily work responsibilities to meet deadlines Perform general accounting and bookkeeping duties Ability to travel to various client sites within the greater Houston area Be involved in client billings and collections Participate in firm marketing activities Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting CPA certification required Previous supervisory experience Excellent organizational, problem-solving, written and oral communication skills 6 years of recent public accounting firm experience in audit A thorough understanding of GAAP and GAAS Working knowledge of QuickBooks PC proficient Knowledge of CCH ProSystem fx Engagement software is a plus Benefits Health Insurance 401(k) and discretional profit sharing after one year of service Vacation/Holiday pay Sustainable work-life balance and flexibility Free covered parking Paid CPE, dues, and license fees Please e-mail your resume to infogriffing.com
