  • Lead and plan projects and client engagements with Commercial clients, primarily in Manufacturing/Distribution.

  • Provide timely, high-quality services and lead engagement teams in delivering products and services

  • Direct all phases of planning and administration for engagements

  • Research, write and review complex planning strategies, services and client advice

  • Assist with billing and collections of clients

  • Monitor and adhere to engagement time budget

  • Manage client relationship

  • Maintain active communication to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction

  • Respect the confidential and independent nature of the client relationships

  • Address and resolve client issues by communicating with the Senior Manager and Partner accordingly.

  • Manage staff

  • Manage and lead the staff through counsel, guidance and coaching. Impart knowledge, facilitate staff development and provide training and learning experiences

  • Effectively delegate and oversee the work efforts by setting goals, providing resources and removing obstacles

  • Evaluate performance and work efforts; provide input to team leader and participate in performance appraisals process. Assist in managing and improving underperformance

  • Demonstrate excellent team skills, positive attitude and high ethical standards

  • Actively facilitate effective team building

  • Participate in new business development

  • Identify additional areas of service to offer current clients. Convert opportunities for additional service and new business into engagements for the firm

  • Maintain primary and active relationships with key business contacts, key clients and referral sources

  • Maintain and expand knowledge base in area of expertise

  • Comply with continuing education requirements; participate in professional organizations, independent study, etc.

  • Integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work and share with colleagues as appropriate

  • Acknowledged and sought out by others due to extensive, in-depth knowledge and expertise in field

  • Maintain current knowledge of local, state, federal and international laws; evaluate and advise on the impact of new related strategies, programs, and/or regulatory actions


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required, Masters or advanced degree desirable

  • CPA required

  • Five (5)+ years' experience providing financial statement auditing services in a professional services firm

  • Two (2)+ years' of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates

  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills

  • Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects

  • Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills

Primary responsibilities include: * Review and monitor undertakings and violations affidavits signed at closing, including, but are not limited to, curing building violations, open permits and environmental violations * Perform post-closing review of the Loan System (ALS) against affidavits signed at closing to ensure capture of required items by document type, monetary holdback and cure due dates * Monitor NYC Department of Buildings and NYC Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) websites for status of open violations and/or undertakings to identify items that have closed or been satisfied. * Escalate open items/no responses to Loan Officers and SVP CRE Loan Portfolio Manager in regards to unresolved or outstanding items past their due dates. * Send updates to Commercial Loan Administration with items to be cleared on ALS loan system. * Log all client correspondence and holdbacks in Ncino Qualifications: * Minimum 6 months' prior work experience/internship experience in a corporate environment, preferably within a finance or real estate organization * High School Diploma or equivalent required * High level of professionalism with strong written and verbal communication skills * Highly motivated, proactive, organized and detail oriented, team player with a positive can-do attitude * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Employee Benefits: * Competitive BONUS program * Excellent health benefits with award winning wellness program * Tuition and gym reimbursement * 401K with company match * Pet Insurance Join a winning team!
