Functions as the daily, operational manager for Internal Audit.
Responsible for Internal Audit and audit activities in the absence of the Audit Director.
Plan, administer, and conduct financial, operational, compliance, and information technology audits, follow-up, and other reviews.
Supervise and assign audit activities to Internal Audit Staff.
Assist in the maintenance of the Internal Audit Standards Manual.
Participate in training of less experienced auditors.
Complete audit segments within time constraints.
Participate in various management committees at the Director of Audit's request.
Develop and maintain audit programs including test plans.
Perform risk assessments, analysis of controls and process flows.
Report results of audit work to Senior Management.
Conduct post-audit follow-up to appraise adequacy of corrective action taken by management.
Maintain the Internal Audit Findings Tracking Reports.
Perform additional duties, including due diligence and independent investigations, as requested.
Monitor and/or ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations; including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering in addition to Bank operating policies and procedures.
Preferably 8+ years of audit experience and a Bachelor's degree.
Must maintain at least one professional certification from the following: CFE, CIA, CISA, or CPA.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to multitask.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Up to 15% local travel.
