KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Knowledge Management to join our Knowledge Management organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with field professionals and Partners providing guidance and support on how to effectively deploy tools and help ensure timely maintenance of content

  • Monitor email inboxes for content submissions, feedback, and requests and process accordingly

  • Liaise with technical support on issues related to performance of internal audit sites

  • Develop and prepare communications, help materials, online demos, and guides on Audit knowledge management tools

  • Upload content to Audit sites and categorize appropriately, as well as prepare reports and related documentation

  • Advise content owners and practice groups on content management processes and on optimal delivery of their content

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience working in knowledge management, information services, or a related role; preferably from within a professional services firm

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Strong Microsoft SharePoint site administration skills including page creation and editing, document library and list creation, web part views creation, document uploading, tagging, and user permissions

Responsibilities: * Build on strategy to help Risk Consulting roll out new Knowledge Management and collaboration platforms and progress through the next levels of maturity, encompassing technology, processes, content, and people * Communicate effectively with field professionals and Partners, providing guidance and support on how to effectively deploy tools and help ensure timely maintenance of content * Advise content owners and practice groups on content management processes and on optimal delivery of their content; Oversee platform training development and delivery to professionals throughout the practice * Collaborate with local and global teams on the next wave of tools and technology and create awareness and adoption of KM initiatives including training content * Interface with practitioners to drive adoption processes, develop use cases, identify barriers for participation, and suggest ways of overcoming such barriers * Manage content and develop governance processes to ensure that information is properly stored and tagged across platforms and tools (including from a risk management perspective) Qualifications: * Minimum of seven years of applicable work experience within a professional services/consulting firm in the areas of knowledge management, product management, project management, and software development lifecycle * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university * Strong project management skills with experience in organizing, prioritizing, planning, and executing multiple medium-to-large scale projects and programs from definition through implementation and adoption * Ability to meet established deadlines; a self-starter and able to work independently as well as being a team player with the ability to write both technical and business documents * Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for better alignment, enhanced efficiency, and building lasting professional relationships with senior executives * Ability to lead a variety of people (vendors, contractors, offshore resources, practitioners, and stakeholders from other parts of KPMG) to establish shared goals and produce desired outcome KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
