How You Will Make an Impact as an Audit Staff Associate:

  • Reviewing prior year work papers and most recent interim financial statements prior to the beginning of an engagement

  • Performing audit procedures for moderately complex areas

  • Identifying and drafting relevant management letter comments, supported by factual information corroborated with appropriate client personnel

  • Maintaining knowledge of clients' policies, procedures and business conditions

  • Understanding clients' basic accounting practices and transactions, and their inter-relationships with financial information systems

  • Demonstrating working knowledge of clients' accounting systems, including computer control structure and environment, and assessing the effectiveness of controls

Your Desired Skills, Experiences & Values:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting

  • 1-4 years of relevant assurance experience in public accounting or industry

  • Progress towards the CPA exam

  • Strong, hands-on Excel skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Motivation to continuously learn and improve, easy to coach

What You Will Do As an Associate with Ascension-MI, you will have the opportunity to provide religious and spiritual care and counsel for emotional and spiritual distress to patients, their families, associates and others with attention to diverse spiritual orientations and cultures. Responsibilities: * Assesses, provides, and documents pastoral care to patients, families and staff. * Provides appropriate pastoral care to the local ministry and community through prayer and blessings. * Provides consultation to patients, families, and medical staff with ethical decision making and values while making appropriate referrals as needed. * Assists in planning, organizing, evaluating, and implementing the spiritual program with each local ministry in order to ensure spirituality initiatives are executed properly. What You Will Need Education: * Diploma * Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Human Behavior or a related field preferred. * 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE required. 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE preferred.
