The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization in Richmond, VA is hiring for an Audiovisual Production Technician!

Location: Richmond, VA Headquarters and International Learning Center

Rate: Commensurate with experience + great benefits!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide audiovisual and media production support for meetings and events at various locations in the Richmond area.

  • Serve as backup to Sr. Audiovisual Production Technician as the contact for audio/video/media production needs at ILC, providing support or arranging for coverage as needed.

  • Works with Manager of Audiovisual & Production Support and Sr. Audiovisual Production Technician to arrange for contract help. Works directly with multiple teams across the organization.

  • Provides instruction and assistance to team of volunteers to operate all AV and streaming equipment as needed.

  • Edits and encodes media from events and studio recordings as needed for multiple delivery formats.

  • Operates lighting, camera, audio, and teleprompter systems at the studio for multiple projects. Has primary responsibility for producing assigned projects. Works with other members of Creative Services Team to support other projects as needed.

  • Routinely works with Technology Solutions staff to troubleshoot network connectivity and other issues related to streaming, videoconferencing, and production systems.

  • Maintains positive relationships with multiple vendors and contractors.

  • Responsible for operation, troubleshooting and support of audio, projection, and room control systems in larger meeting rooms that includes both AMX and Crestron systems.

  • Works alongside contractors and vendors as needed for installation and maintenance of equipment and systems at both locations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in AV Engineering, media production, communications preferred.

  • At least three years of related work experience

  • Experience operating audio, video cameras and studio lighting system for single and multi-camera productions for both recorded and live productions.

  • Experience in editing and encoding footage from events and studio recordings.

  • Knowledgeable in the operation and troubleshooting of audio, projection and room control systems in meetings room.

  • Experience with DAW, i.e. Cubase, Logic, Pro Presenter/video software/Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud applications for media production including Adobe Audition, Adobe Premier, Adobe Media Encoder, and Adobe Photoshop

  • CTS is a plus.

  • Must be willing to work in both locations.

  • May need to work an occasional evening or weekend event and possible travel required.
