About the Position:
The incumbent will serve as a Audiovisual Production Specialist for the ASA, IMCOM Fort Eustis, VA. Fort Eustis, VA is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Local transportation via the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) bus service to the surrounding area which includes Hampton, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach.

Maintain a Government Purchase Card (GPC) account ($10,000 limit), through a financial management system such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) for large purchase payment.
Serves as the Audiovisual Production Specialist in the Fort Eustis Army Support Activity (ASA), Enterprise Multimedia Center (EMC) Division.
Operates high definition still cameras, lighting (both flash and incandescent/LED), computers, and other multimedia equipment to create, acquire and capture still imagery in support of baseline photography production requirements.
Serves as the editor/shooter responsible for all production processes to achieve a finished product.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel up to 5% of the time for this position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Assist with operating a high definition still camera; 2) Assist with staging equipment and people in studio and remote environments; AND 3) Use adobe software to edit photographic imagery.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position.
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
