Job Description/Summary: Reporting to the Audiology Clinic Manager and Practice Administrator, the Audiologist I provides differential diagnosis of auditory function for clients, birth to 21 years of age. #The Audiologist I coordinates therapeutic and educational interventions for clients.
Position Requirements: Minimum Education: Master#s degree in Audiology or Audiology Clinical Doctorate.
Minimum 6 months of experience in#pediatric Audiology. One (1) to two (2) years of experience in pediatric Audiology preferred.
License Required: California Audiology Dispensing License Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:# Skilled in the accurate assessment of auditory function of infants, preschoolers and difficult to test children. # Skilled in counseling families. # Flexible and sensitive to people and situations. # Thorough knowledge of pediatric Audiology and child development issues. # Hands on experience with electrophysiological techniques. Technical Knowledge:# Basic proficiency with PC#s.# Prior experience with electronic medical records preferred.
Physical Requirements: Sit: Up to 6 hours/day Stand/Walk: Up to 6 hours Bend/Stoop:
