Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for providing clinical assessment including diagnostic assessment and hearing aid support.
Obtains patient/case history and documents in EMR.
Provides diagnostic and audiologic testing.
Counsels and educates patients on diagnosis.
Designs and implements individual rehabilitation/treatment programs.
Advises and assists patients with specialized hearing protection and ear molds.
Provides work direction to Audiology Assistant.
Services or repairs hearing aids.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education/Work Experience/License/Certifications
Au.D. or Master's degree in Audiology
Current MN Audiology license
Knowledge of hearing aid circuitry and ability to service
Knowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work autonomously and as a team
Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
