You will play a key role in driving the audiobooks business at Apple by merchandising the audiobooks store and being the primary content liaison with audiobook publishers.
5+ years book/audiobook industry experience with specific expertise in audiobook sales and/or marketing Minimum 2 years project management experience Proven ability in content management, production of marketing and editorial campaigns Experience with complex data management systems and proven ability to quickly master new applications and systems A rigorous understanding of how customers browse, select and consume audiobook content A deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem of services and hardware Demonstrated ability to analyze data to track past performance and inform future strategy Outstanding organizational and communication skills, with experience establishing and implementing processes to maximize efficiency An obsession with detail Expertise at driving cross-functional cooperation with internal teams and building strong relationships with external partners

The Audiobooks Merchandiser will be the point person for audiobooks within the Apple Books merchandising team, responsible for both highly detail-focussed content programming and partner-facing interaction. This role is responsible for creating engaging and successful audiobooks merchandising campaigns, from idea-creation right through implementation, to analyzing and communicating performance, as well as the day to day merchandising of the US storefront. Working hand-in-glove with the rest of the business team, this role will also interact extensively with marketing, operations, product, design and other Apple teams, to look for opportunities to maximize sales of audiobooks on our platform.
