The National Security Customer Group of SAIC is seeking an Audio Visual Engineer to support an IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois. The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is intended to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command's infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6).
The successful candidate will provide their Audio Visual expertise to the Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Audiovisual team providing all facets of customer service including maintaining, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting of video conference and briefing support facilities.
Responsibilities
Extensive Cisco LAN/WAN design and implementation experience
Technical subject matter expertise in the planning and execution of IT solutions to support customer requirements
Demonstrate an understanding of how to configure and troubleshoot Voice and VTC networks
Experience with Cisco IM and Presence and Cisco Jabber
Demonstrated experience with: major audio/visual installs and configurations
Experience with Crestron Programing
Experience with Solarwinds applications for network monitoring and management network devices
Configure and troubleshoot protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, SIP, H.323, SAF
Experience with U.S. Department of Defense security requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures
Collaborate with others to isolate and resolve complex network problems
Qualifications
Active DoD Secret clearance.
Must be a US Citizen
BA/BS and 5 or more years of experience or 9 years of experience in lieu of degree
Experience of relevant AV/VTC experience.
Must have at least one of these IAT Level II certifications: Security+, CECCNA-Security, CySA+ , GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP
Must have at least one Computing Environment (CE) certification or certificate for the technical area of responsibility for Network support/defense (e.g., Splunk, Cisco, McAfee, etc.)
Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, IM and Presence, Cisco Unity Connection, Jabber
Comprehensive experience with Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE
Experience with SIP trunks
Able to apply configuration standards for DOD IA and IA-enabled devices/systems consistent with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
Desired Qualifications:
MA/MS
DoD TS/SCI clearance
ITIL Foundation V4 certification
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)-Voice/CCNP-Collaboration certification and Crestron Certified Programmer desired
